Orchestre Poly Rythmo de Cotonou are a band from Benin, which plays Afrobeat, Funk, Soukous and other styles, often based on Vodun rhythms.
==Biography==
The band were first formed in 1966 under the name Orchestre Poly-Disco in the coastal town of Cotonou. They recorded around 500 songs between the late 1960s and early 1980s, playing a variety of musical styles for various Beninese record labels.
